Our NursesBye-bye pre-piercing nerves because Rowan nurses create a stress-free environment with extensive experience and expert use of PPE.
Our ServiceEvery ear is unique which is why all piercings begin with an ear evaluation to determine what works best for you. Before you leave, you’ll receive the aftercare instructions and access to our nurse hotline.
How We PierceOur nurses use a gentle, hand-pressured device with pre-sterilized 14k gold or stainless steel earrings to pierce. Our piercing jewelry has safety backs and long posts to ensure sufficient air flow and optimal healing. We never use piercing guns, which are spring loaded and can damage the ear tissue.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What piercing earring options do I have? Our nurses carry a selection of 14k gold and stainless steel piercing earrings. We offer classic styles including pearls, cubic zirconia, and plain balls, as well as novelty designs. Our piercing earring options can be previewed on our Booking page.
What do you pierce with?Rowan nurses use a hand pressurized instrument. This uses the pressure (and complete control) of a Rowan nurses' hand to safely guide, place, and pierce! This instrument holds a sterilized single-use cartridge containing the sterile starter stud earrings that pierce the ear. Unlike piercing guns, which use spring loaded mechanisms to forcefully pierce, a hand-pressurized instrument allows for a gentle and direct control with each and every piercing.
What do I wear after my piercings heal? You can change your jewelry 6 weeks (lobe) or 12 weeks (helix) after your piercing. We recommend keeping earrings in for a full 12 months post-piercing to assure they won't close. Rowan has a wide selection of nickel-free, hypoallergenic jewelry to keep you sparkling.
