Do I need piercing or beauty experience to work at Rowan?
No prior piercing or beauty experience is required. Every new team member receives comprehensive training tailored to their role. Nurses are trained through our Ear Piercing Institute according to the Rowan Clinical Piercing Standard®, while studio and retail associates learn customer care, styling, and product knowledge to create confidence-boosting experiences for every client.

Is training provided for new Rowan employees?
Yes! All Rowan employees have comprehensive training, depending on the role. Regardless of role, each Rowan employee spends time in the studio to understand what makes Rowan special. Our nurses are trained with a proprietary and thorough curriculum through the Ear Piercing Institute, according to the Rowan Clinical Piercing Standard ®, to ensure the best quality piercings. Studio employees are trained on customer service and care, products we use, and operational excellence.
